Mining

Overview
Mining is an activity that involves descending layers of the cave to obtain minerals or furniture.
When first entering the cave, you will have 8 actions that can be used to either descend a layer or collect items.
Once you've used all your actions, you will exit the cave and return to layer 1 upon reentry.
The minerals found in the cave are randomly chosen, and new minerals become available at lower layers.
Mining upgrades can be purchased to boost mining in a variety of ways, such as increasing your starting amount of actions or the number of minerals in each layer.

Large Minerals

Sometimes a large version of a mineral may appear in the cave.
These large minerals are twice as rare as the regular sized mineral, and provide 2 items instead of 1.
They only take 1 action to mine, so it is a good idea to mine these instead of smaller minerals if you're running low on actions.
Cave Layout
Layers in the cave will have a different layouts.
As you descend to lower layers, the number of rooms in each layer will increase.
Some layers will have water, torches, or lava.
Quartz can only be found on layers with lava.
